Cheshire Villages

Daresbury to Knutsford, via Lymm and other rural Cheshire gems.

Chilterns (Bucks)

Used for countless TV locations, including the Vicar of Dibley, Midsomer Murders and The Avengers, these traditional villages are quintessentially English.

Cotswolds

Chocolate-box villages, idyllic thatched hamlets and an ancient druid stone circle.  A fantastic romp around the English countryside.

Essex Villages

Forget the Essex jokes – this is the unspoilt part of this ancient county – from medieval Thaxted to gorgeous Finchingfield.

Isle of Purbeck (Dorset)

Seaside, quayside, mysterious ruined castles and clifftops. No wonder Enid Blyton got her inspiration here.

North Norfolk Coast
