Rotherhithe-Wapping treasure hunt
Discover some of the old East End of London in our two-part treasure hunt round Rotherhithe and Wapping.
Rotherhithe is the first stop on our Old East End treasure hunt. Here you can see the museum celebrating Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the original berth of the Mayflower and a fantastic 'protected view' of the River Thames. Then it's a one-stop hop on the London Overground (Zone 2) through Brunel's Thames Tunnel to Wapping. The second part of the route takes you along Wapping High Street, through the Memorial Garden honouring the Eastenders who suffered in the Blitz, and into peaceful St. Katherine's Dock in the shadow of the Tower of London.
