Launch of York city treasure hunt

Treasuredays is proud to launch its latest UK city treasure hunt in the historic English city of York.  Founded by the Romans in 71 AD, this walled city was second only to London in political, ecclesiastical and social importance during the Middle Ages.  The Hunt follows a circular route, starting at Clifford's Tower - once the central stronghold of York Castle - on through Spurriergate and Lendal, and then bearing right towards the magnificent York Minster.   Wend your way then to the medieval Shambles, and along to High Ousegate, before finishing down Nessgate to get back to your starting place.
