An unspoilt and cultured seaside haven on the Suffolk coast. 

Hunt starts at: Aldeburgh Roman Catholic Church in The Terrace
Hunt ends at: St Peter & Paul’s Church, Victoria St.
Length of Hunt: c. 2-3 hrs at a medium pace (excluding optional refreshment / pub stops)

Edition required:

Although a famous ship-building town in Tudor times, Aldeburgh is now best known for its music and food festivals. Starting at the Town Steps, cross the High St to explore right along the beachfront up to the 16th century Moot Hall. A quick turn inland up Victoria St, and we finish up at the other church, where Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears are both buried in the churchyard. Why not combine with a visit to the legendary Aldeburgh fish & chip shop – often voted the best in England?
