Our Paris Treasure Hunt is a great way to explore one of the world's most romantic cities.

Treasuredays' Paris treasure hunt is our first in a mainland European capital city.  The city's cosmopolitan streets have been home to statesmen and artists for hundreds of years.  The treasure hunt route starts outside the Gothic cathedral of Notre-Dame, on the Île de la Cité. Head towards the Palais de Justice, then take a stroll along the Seine, enjoying the views of the Louvre in the distance. Cross the Pont-Neuf bridge to arrive in fashionable St Germain des Pres – a hotspot of boutique artisan shops and famous restaurants. The trail leads through a series of historic streets up to the majestic Palais du Luxembourg.

Hunt starts at: Notre Dame
Hunt ends at: Palais du Luxembourg
Length of hunt: c. 2-3 hours at a medium pace (excluding refreshment stops)

We like:

  • La Boissonnerie in Rue de Seine - excellent daily changing fish menus at reasonable prices
  • Window shopping along luxurious Rue Jacob
  • The views from the bridges across the river
  • Hotel Odeon in St Germain des Pres as a great base for a stay (13 Rue St-Sulpice)

The lovely gardens (Jardins du Luxembourg) next to the Palaid du Luxembourg are a perfect place to meet up at the end of the treasure hunt for a picnic.
