Brand New Oxford City Hunt
We're so pleased to now launch our brand new Oxford City Hunt. We've deliberately kept to the ancient city centre as we feel it's by far the most atmospheric for hunt purposes, starting at the Martyr's Memorial and finishing at Christ Church Cathedral (via Broad St, Catte St, Bath Place, The Turf Tavern, Bridge of Sighs, Radcliffe Camera, Merton Street and St Aldates).
High summer is also a fantastic time to visit the Falkland Arms in Great Tew, which is a tiny hamlet in Oxfordshire, one of our favourite places in the world, and also the final point of our Cotswold Treasure Hunt. The pub has won countless awards for various 'Best Pub' categories over the years, and we went to stay on its summer Beer festival weekend. Hog roast in the garden, sun shining, 20-odd real ales to choose from – and to top it off a visit from the Charlbury Morris Men who stayed for ages and entertained us all in the most quintessentially eccentric English way!
